【System Overview】

The S scanning control system uses USB 3.0 as the communication interface between mainboard and PC terminal, supporting connection of more than 8 printheads, meeting the configuration requirements of large-format machines.
【Printhead Overview】
Equipped with PrecisionCore MACH technology, Epson S1440 delivers high-precision and high-speed printing. Its compact size facilitates multi-head splicing, supports multi-grayscale variable droplet technology for better image quality, and features high durability to fit industrial scenarios‌‌.‌‌

High Precision & Excellent Image Quality:

Adopting ALL MEMS process and Thin Film Piezo (TFP) technology, it features a 600 npi dual-row nozzle layout with round ink droplets and precise positioning. Supported by VSDT variable sized droplet technology (5-9-18pl for A3 version), it provides abundant grayscale levels, low graininess and smooth color transitions.

High Precision & High-Density Printing:

Adopting MACH (Multi-layer Actuator) technology, it realizes high-density nozzle arrangement of 360 npi in two columns, with a single-column resolution of 180 npi and dual-column resolution up to 360 dpi to guarantee clear output details 。
Compact Structure for Higher Efficiency:

Compact dimension (approx. 60.4×46.9×71.1mm), saving space during multi-head splicing and shortening printhead moving distance, which greatly improves production capacity and equipment layout flexibility 。
Multi-Grayscale Variable Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT):

Freely adjustable droplet sizes (3.4-9.2-16pl for L1440-A1, 4.5-10-19pl for L1440-U2), effectively reducing graininess and delivering smooth color gradients, rich details and high color saturation 。
High Durability & Stable Performance:

Manufactured with precise MEMS process, the piezoelectric component enjoys long service life with a theoretical driving cycle of hundreds of billions. It operates without heating, offering wide ink compatibility and low maintenance cost 。
Multi-Color Output Capacity:

A single printhead supports up to 8-color ink configuration (180 npi per color) or 4-color configuration (360 dpi per color) to meet demands for complex color reproduction.
