【Printhead Overview】

Ricoh Gen5i (Model TH5241) is Ricoh's first thin-film piezoelectric industrial printhead. Its core features include 1280 nozzles, 3-12pL variable ink droplets, 1200dpi high resolution and a compact dual-channel design. Featuring long throw distance and exquisite craftsmanship, it is optimized for high-quality proofing and irregular curved surface printing .

Exquisite & Fine Printing Quality‌:

With ultra-fine 3pL ink droplets and variable droplet technology, it performs better than standard Gen5 in gradient transitions and portrait skin texture reproduction, reaching precision close to Epson printheads

‌Outstanding Long-Distance Printing Capacity:

This is the core competitive advantage of G5i. It delivers extremely powerful ejection force to realize long-distance printing of 1.5 - 3 cm, perfectly suitable for direct printing on cylindrical, conical or irregular products such as wine bottles, vacuum flasks, phone cases and cosmetic tubes.‌

High Integration & Cost Optimization:

A single G5i printhead integrates 4 color channels to realize four-color printing with just one printhead. It simplifies equipment structure and reduces the overall procurement cost of printheads.

Stable Performance & Easy Maintenance:

It adopts a split design for printhead and flat cable. If the flat cable is damaged, only the cable needs to be replaced separately to cut maintenance costs. Meanwhile, it supports cleaning with ultrasonic cleaning system.
